David Ndegwa is a diagnostic radiographer with a Bachelor of Radiography (Diagnostic) from JKUAT. He is currently a Master of Business Administration (MBA) candidate. He works at Rology, an FDA-cleared, AI-powered teleradiology company, as Growth Lead (Kenya), leading programs that support radiographers’ professional development.
He heads the Department of Medical Imaging Sciences at Thika School of Medical and Health Sciences (TSMHS), training Diploma in Radiography and Imaging students. His clinical background spans several major private institutions in Nairobi, giving him a practitioner’s grounding in both diagnostic imaging and sonography before moving into academic leadership and management.
He is active in Kenya’s radiography professional community, with long-standing interests in strengthening training quality and expanding access to radiology services.
He is a corresponding member of the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF), the European Society of Radiology (ESR), and the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM).
His work centers on building the professional community infrastructure that supports the growth of medical imaging as a field across the continent. He is passionate about open access education, as reflected by his medical illustrations and case studies published on open access forums like Radiopaedia.
