The RASCO 2026 CONFERENCE

The Radiographers Scientifi c Conference (RASCO), is organized by The Society of Radiography in Kenya (SORK), a professional association representing radiography practitioners in Kenya.

Healthcare is changing rapidly with artifi cial intelligence, automation, hybrid imaging technologies, digital health systems, sustainability concerns and workforce pressures which reshape the practice.

Radiographers must not only adapt but lead these transitions. RASCO 2026 is designed as a forwardlooking conference that creates space to refl ect, recalibrate and collectively defi ne the next chapter of radiography and imaging in Kenya and beyond.

RASCO 2026 will adopt a hybrid approach that includes both virtual and in-person attendance. The virtual attendance option will ensure maximum participation from delegates who maynot beable to travel to the conference venue. The conference will comprise keynote speeches, plenaryand parallel sessions, panel discussions, presentations, and poster sessions. The sessions will beinteractive and provide an opportunity for participants to engage in discussions and knowledge-sharing.

SORK also has a network of partners and stakeholders who will provide technical support and expertise in organizing the conference. For instance, the conference’s central and scientific committees will comprise experts in radiography, policymakers, and researchers supported by an able local organizing committee
